Caller ID is an additional feature on your phone service where you can look up names, addresses, and other contact information. Caller ID is an old telecommunication protocol for countries categorized as NANPA. Numbers that begins with +1 is an indicator for NANPA countries.

Do not be surprised if you can no longer call the people you’ve used to call, they may have requested to add your number from the block list. Some caller ID activation are self-activated by the customer using numbers that they just have to dial. For many varying reasons, caller ID is very important this generation.
