How To Organize Your Life.
Juggling a full-time job, your family and spouse relationship, the friendship and even the exercises are among the things that you will have to do despite the fact that they will be really tough as an adult. The thing is that those very organized people that you see and admire were not born that way, it is something that they had to learn to do. When you streamline your daily routine and the adult responsibilities, you will be left with more free time for yourself. For starters, there are a few basics that you will have to start with as any Life Skill Instructor will tell you.
A huge part of being an adult is remembering pretty much everything from the play dates for the kids to the events with friends. Save the b dates and the events on the phone calendar or even diarize them, anything, as long as you actually write them down. The things that you are supposed to remember, write to the daily activities that you are supposed to remember like getting the groceries, write them somewhere and stick them on a place that you will see. Make a list in the morning and then tick off the things that you do so that you can know whether the schedule timing that you have is actually working.
Make time for your personal time as you schedule. I know that you have a lot to do in 24 hours but your time should be among them. To be able to enjoy the things that you have without distractions, clear the mess in the house by getting rid of the things that you no longer needs. Instead of renting a storage unit, donate the stuff that you no longer need to charity and do away with them for good.
Being able to stick to the plans that you committed to is one way of showing that you are responsible as an adult. Do not think for one moment that there is anything wrong with saying no because this is actually better than giving excuses. This will shoe responsibility and the fact that you know where your priorities lies. Last but not least, be consistence and hence reliable because this is what organized adults do. Showing regard to people’s time will show that you are responsible and care about other people. A full grown adult that has absolutely no regards for people’s lives and do stuff like show up on a meeting late without apology is not a responsible one.
